I didn’t know much about Dorcas the first time I met her, only what I saw—how she swept back her long grey hair and gave herself so completely to these kids. Beyond the healthy home cooked meals, help with homework, and a place to sleep, Dorcas gave these the warmth of a home. 

 

It was their shared laughter that made me pick up my camera. To capture and share their fleeting moments of happiness. To share who Dorcas is, her motivations from God, and the immense love she holds. To share the story of Sail, which began with two kids in 2007 and has since grown into a home for over 3000 kids in Taiwan.

第一次見到Dorcas時，我對她了解不多，只是從她的外表看到了她慈祥的樣子——她把長長的灰髮撥回，完全投入愛到這些孩子身上。除了健康的家常菜、功課上的幫助和一個可以睡覺的地方，Dorcas給了這些孩子們一個家的溫暖。

 

正是他們共享的笑聲讓我拿起了相機，想要捕捉並分享他們那稍縱即逝的快樂時刻。我想分享Dorcas是誰，她來自上帝的動力，以及她心中那份巨大的愛。我想分享揚帆協會的故事，這個故事始於2007年兩個孩子，如今已經成長為台灣超過3000個孩子的家。
